Jewel (blue)
"Jewel" (blue) oil on stretched canvas
This is the first one of the Jewel pieces that has been completed. I have started two more of the backgrounds (below posts). It's kind of like hammering copper or gold and preparing the metal for the setting of the jewel.

Painting from the Past
A couple of paintings I did many years ago. They have been in storage. I am thinking of varnishing them and seeing how varnish works before varnishing the large paintings.
